I am currently working on my doctorate at Dartmouth where I am working with Brian Chaboyer doing stellar astrophysicists. There are two other graduate students in our research group: Aaron Dotter, who is working on several theoretical projects including an interesting study of stellar pollution, and Stephen Bjork, who is modeling stars to determine the internal conditions of the very brightest stars in globular clusters. There are also several undergrads involved in the research group. In particular, I've been working with Zosia Krusberg after we went on an observing run at MDM observatory.

I'm currently working on two projects, one mostly theoretical and one mostly observational.

• Theoretical: I'm working to determine the ages for a large fraction of the Milky Way's globular clusters. The plan is to add to the work done by my advisor in his 1996 paper (REFERENCE). We hope that the additional observations taken in the last six years will help to determine ages in a more consistant and accurate manner.
• Observational: The project that is currently taking all my time is determing the luminosity function for several globular clusters. I currently have deep data (down to 24th magnitude!) of M15 and M92 taken with the MDM 8K mosaic camera. I'm planning to present the luminosity function of M15 at the American Astronomical Society meeting in Seattle this coming January.

In addition to currently working on my doctorate, I received my Master's degree from New Mexico State University in 2000. There, I worked with Jon Holtzman trying to determine the star formation history of the Milky Way from Hipparcos data.
