Or the Word “Dyke” Ever Again
Teacher: So, for the final sentence we should get some sort of metaphor for tax cuts helping the US recession.
Student #1: Hmm… Hey, you know like, the commercial where they put gum in the hole in the dam to stop the leak?.
Student #2: Or the finger!
Teacher: Oh, you mean in the dyke!
Student #1: Yeah, so… Tax cuts would be the finger in the hole of America’s dyke?
Teacher: Maybe we shouldn’t use a metaphor.

Dactyl Abuse

(1) Nathaniel, have you noticed that the blog has been getting ‘a lot’ of rhymes-with-’yourmamasfatbutnotasfatasiam’ recently? I mean, not a whole lot, but I’ve deleted from moderation maybe a couple comments a day in the past couple weeks, up from ~1/week?

(2) I am attempting to run a piece of code that will take a couple days on dactyl, so if you can’t read this message anymore please let Nathaniel (and me, but he knows more) know so he can fix things. Hopefully it won’t break anything, but just in case.

Sugar Mamas: All-Time list

In a recent letter to The Sports Guy, Sean from Harrisburg, PA brings up a good point about Kate Mara: She is the absolute most gorgeous thing I have ever seen AND she’s the granddaughter of Wellington Mara, which means she’s freaking rich.

So, obviously, we the blog people need to work on such a Sugar Mama list… for starters, I’d go with Demi Moore (taken, but husbands are only speedbumps, not roadblocks) and Jennifer Aniston.
