As discussed on the Virgin Radio breakfast show a little while back, the hosts posed to various callers “If you had to ditch your current friends for 3 famous ones, who would they be?”
I can’t say that I would have picked a better list. Probably included some snobby intellectual types or something. ugh. I’ll try to forget about this whole issue and then see if I can surprise myself and answer it while drunk or something, maybe then I’d get a good list.

As an aside, Nathaniel, apparently this had been kicking around in draft form for a while, and during one of the recent blog updates the date was reset to 11/30/1999. Not December 31st ‘99, but a full month before the “y2k” bug would have hit. clever, or something.
