Another historical photo unearthed…
Wednesday, March 5th, 2008I don’t know why, but whenever they find a really cool historical photograph previously thought lost, I get really excited.
In particular, this one of a young Helen Keller and her teacher Anne Sullivan is really awesome.
Bonus factoid: the Alabama state quarter features a portrait of Helen Keller and is the first (and so far only) US coin with Braille on it. From a state that usually screws stuff up, we wound up with one of the classier state quarter designs.
