Wi-fi SD Memory Card

This 2Gb memory card has wi-fi. It’s $100. If you and your digital camera are within 90 feet your laptop, the card can automatically send your pictures to the laptop as you take them. If you’re anywhere that has a wireless network, it can automatically upload them to flickr, facebook, or any of at least 18 other photo sharing sites.

    That’s pretty slick. Are there any estimates of the real-life transfer speed? Given that you have effectively a 2GB buffer I imagine that you’d still be able to shoot a lot of stills before having to slow down.

    Just yesterday, I was searching for a way to update my facebook photo every minute of every day. Now I can.
