Talking next week
Friday, July 13th, 2007I got invited to give a talk at a conference next week. Looking at the schedule now, I’m labeled as giving a “Keynote” talk.
Suddenly this seems like a much larger deal.
I’m scared.

Say it ain’t so, Julio!
Friday, July 13th, 2007Tim will be saddened to know that yesterday the NY Metropolitans released Julio Franco in order to make room for hot prospect Lastings Milledge. Milledge, by the way, demonstrated the benefits of being two decades younger by scoring from first on a single in the fifth, sliding past home and tagging the corner with his hand. Nice play.
