12-year-old hearthrobs?
Monday, June 11th, 2007Last week Kepler’s person was telling us about this opening band for the Pipettes @ the Highline Ballroom, and how while waiting for the first (sucky) opening act to finish up he noticed a couple pre-teen girls loitering around the edge of the stage. They turned out to be Smoosh, and apparently they kick some serious ass. Like Hanson without being ambiguously-gendered? (Helps to have Death Cab’s guitarist as a mentor/teacher.)
We all thought he was exaggerating about their ages, but no: Asya was 12 years old and Chloe was 10 when their first album came out three years ago.
