Priorities

I don’t want to minimize the horror of the shooting at Virginia Tech on Monday, it was an amazing waste of life.

I just find it interesting that over five times as many Iraqis have been killed in bomb blasts today alone. The coverage on that isn’t quite equal to the VT story. While they aren’t American college students, they’re still people.

Tampa Bay Car-Jumpers?

We’ve all seen crazy/stupid YouTube stunts, but TB outfielder Joey Gathright jumping over (and I mean over, not just sorta-over) a car is pretty impressive.  On one hand, maybe this will help convince the Rays’ brass to get him a consistently in the starting lineup, or maybe void a contract which precludes “doing stupid shit.”  Either way, check it out.
