I don’t know if it’s the Warren/Jimmy Buffett confusion, the uncomfortable amusement I feel about the gag in the last panel, or the general chuckles that the character combo of Robbie and Butler always brings for me, but today’s strip made me laugh out loud.

Some of you have inquired about whether the College has to shutdown tomorrow because of the predicted snowstorm. The weather tomorrow certainly does not look promising, but I have lived in New England long enough to know that forecasts, particularly involving nor’easters, can be complicated. For that reason, the College will not make a decision on curtailing all or part of its normal operations until early tomorrow morning. If we decide to curtail activities, we will notify all employees and students via email prior to 7 am. We will also post a message on the homepage, leave a recorded message on the College’s Inclement Weather Phone Line (1-888-566-SNOW or 1-888-566-7669), and notify local media outlets. Individual offices may choose to cancel or postpone scheduled events or activities, but the decision to close down needs to be made centrally.
