Another day, another complaint

Maryland could not make it more difficult to register a car and get a new driver’s license. I have to bring in a minimum of three pieces of ID plus two items to prove that I actually live here. Then there are separate safety and emissions tests. Then you have to hire a separate tag and title company to actually get all the paperwork in order. (Actually, that’s optional, but it’s the only way to get it done in less than 2 days of standing in lines.)

  

Magnetic Water

Here’s a neat little page about “magnetic water”. The guy extracted iron from spinach with the use of some lime juice and then shows how it can be manipulated with a magnet.

You might have thought we had 9 planets in our solar system. If you were nerdy enough to keep up with current events (and most of us fit in that category), you might have said 12. But you’d be wrong there too - Pluto just got fired, so we are down to 8 actual planets.
