Qual studying distraction…

Monday, August 21st, 2006

If anyone has any of those red coke caps with the codes on them from the soda machine that they do not want, I will gladly take them off your hands. Unfortunately, the coke reward that I want is 2,560 points. I have 24 points. And I don’t drink coke. So I need some assistance :)

Wow, this is some impressive science

Dolphins are stupid because they don’t jump out of nets.

Goldfish jump out of fishbowls because they’re curious about things outside the bowl.

I haven’t actually listened to the songs yet, but there’s a new set of 25 free songs that you can get from Facebook. This week it’s hip-hop.

Speaking of hip-hop, you should check out
these videos.

Blog Update

Monday, August 21st, 2006

Some of you may have noticed some blog errors earlier. We went from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 on the blog.

It was mainly just a security update, although it’s supposed to fix one other thing too.

edit: you can now either search your memory or just experiment and find the bug that got fixed.

Fire Joe Morgan

Monday, August 21st, 2006

I hate Joe Morgan.  Not just because he criticizes a book that he amits he’s never read (Moneyball), or because he claims that it was written by Billy Beane (which it wasn’t), but because he has to be one of the most arrogant sports commentators ever.  During last night’s Sox-Yanks game he mentioned how Papelbon was succeeding because he was pitching the Yankee hitters inside and jamming them.  But when presented with a replay that showed the pitch locations were actually out over the plate, he said that the video was wrong, since it obviously couldn’t be his infallible eyes.  I mean, he played baseball, and no crazy computer pitch analyzer can tell him where a pitch was!  I wonder what it’s like when he gets pulled over by the police…

Cop:  Do you know why I pulled you over?
Joe:  No

Cop:  You were going 120 in a 30

Joe:  No I wasn’t, I was only going 20.  I’ve driven a car before and I know when my speedometer’s wrong!

Cop:  Step out of the car, please..

On another note, the Yankees are a better team than the Sox.  There, I said it.  They have better pitching and a much better lineup, and probably stand a very good chance of going all the way this year.  It’s been a great ride, but I think you can pretty much stick a fork in the Sox this year.

The Mystery is Solved!

Monday, August 21st, 2006

Well, almost.  But, later today, we will finally find out the identity of the killer, and who framed Sprachel!  (du-du-duuuh!)

For those unaware of the killer in our midst, Unilever has been branched out into some pretty creative advertising for I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.
