I ran into Hratch, Ralda’s boyfriend today after dinner in Hanover. He’s pretty much stuck in the US until the president decides to stop the shit going on in Lebanon. Here’s a site he pointed out to me with the warning that if you can’t handle disturbing images, best not look.
Sorry to bring serious shit to the blog, but I think it needs to be seen, instead of just read about… Anyways, I also heard there’s a fund raiser for the people of Lebanon at the India Queen tonight. Don’t really know any specifics, but it’s supposed to start at 9pm (right now ).

While it’s been mentioned, the difference between media coverage in the US as compared to Austria is amazing. Unsurprising, but still impressive. Oh well, maybe eventually Rex will get his head out of his ass (not likely) and we can actually make progress…
P.S. Israel’s bombing of a UN bunker was dumb. really dumb. not a smart move on their part, just in case you weren’t sure.
