Italy carried the play in the first half, and could have derserved a lead, but France certainly was in control and could be judged unlucky to have not marked the scoreboard in the second half, so it was fair to go to overtime. Zidane’s headbutt was just weird, so odd for a player of his stature to lose control. His penalty was cooly taken, a cheeky little chip to the right off the crossbar, but 110 minutes later he lost his cool. congrats to the Azzurri!
