Well, it’ll certainly be a lot less busty with Amanda Congdon gone. The website itself isn’t as inflamatory, just saying “she’s gone to Hollywood, we’ll miss her, but the show goes on.” (The first show with the new “interim anchor” will be next Monday, the 10th July.)
Caught this one today on Slate’s “Today’s Cartoons” feature. It’s the creation of Ann Telnaes, who draws for a variety of big name papers and who won the Pulitzer for her work in 2001.
EDIT: Okay, yeah, that doesn’t work. Not only does it fail to work with the linking, it seems to fail with the uploading in general. I know I’m computer-dumb as far as our usual contributors go, but even I had the old version of Wordpress figured. It seems like the “new and improved” WordPress that we’re now using sure is making things like uploading images and linking to them a lot more difficult than it used to be. Also, maybe it’s just me, but I find that the new format makes it less fun to use moods and “listening to” options. Now I’m done being grumpy; I’ll leave this one in the capable hands of our computer-savvy dactyl admins.
