Stupid Laptop

So, I found a way to perhaps fix the old hard drive. It’s at least another avenue to explore, anyway. However, I either need a firewire external case for it, or i need to put it BACK into the laptop, because i need to boot from it in single-user mode. of course, mac osx doesn’t allow you to boot from usb external disks. god, what a pain in the ass. cheapest case i can find is $30 including s&h.
FYI: if you ever have to reload your itunes library, simply logging into the music store will let you access all your purchased music without having to authorize the computer for each song.
