Facebook’s on the Block

Another link post… apparently facebook is putting itself up for sale.

The amazing part is how much they want: $2 billion. Not bad for a bunch of Harvard sophomores that only put the whole thing together 2 years ago. Then again, it is the 7th most heavily trafficked site on the internet.

Stanislaw Lem dead

I figure that Tim shouldn’t have all the rights to posting about dead people.

I went on a Lem kick a few years ago and read basically all of his stories that have been translated into English. It’s really some pretty decent science fiction.

If any of you would like to borrow some books, just let me know.
