So, for those of y’all who missed the storied performance of the Planck Walkers at the Middle Earth Music Hall’s open mic night this past Wednesday, both audio and video recordings of the event are available for screening.
Courtesy of David Abbott, you may download a Windows Media version of the audio here. If you’d like to hear another version of the audio, you can talk to Keelhaul Red (Scott) about getting his MP3 version, which will soon be added as another download to the above link.
There’s also a video available (talk to Red again), but at a whopping 3GB of uncompressed raw video, you may want to wait for the DVD version he’s promised us after the first of the year.
As for the music, well, our instrumentalists are great, some of us sing better than others among us, we could all use more practice, and the audience really enjoyed the performance. Your friendly constructive critical commentary is welcome. Thanks in advance on behalf of the Planck Walkers sea shanty band and revue, which includes David Abbott, Winton Brown, Scott Daniel, Andrea Kunder, Jeremy Ouellette, Brian Sullivan, and me.
