Calculus in high school would’ve been way more fun if these were used as instructional videos.

So, I’ve had two problems so far today.
This morning we woke up to the power being down. No electricity = no heat. No electricity = no internet. No electricity = no hot water. Freezing rain isn’t a good thing. I headed downstairs to start a fire and, of course, the power came back on like 4 minutes after I got it good and warm.
The garbage man hasn’t been by yet today either.
Oh, there’s one Christmas problem too. The tree we got had its branches all tucked up for shipping. The tree folks said “the branches will come down after you get it inside”. It’s been up for a week now and the branches haven’t really moved at all yet. It’s officially one of the ugliest trees I’ve seen.
First a missile gap, now a mistletoe gap!!!
What are we going to do?
good thing we still have alcohol.
