So Arby’s is currently running a series of ads that are “great thinkers” or something similar. The one I just saw talks about Einstein and the guys who made the first laser and how lasers can do all sorts of cool things from fixing your eyeballs to making Pink Floyd concerts better.

Ok, kind of a cool ad.

Unfortunately, they have the cartoon Einstein writing “simulated emission” on the chalkboard.

Ha.

In my latest act of geekdom, I have downloaded a number of lessons from A Free Course in Quenya so that I can take a crack at learning the fictional Elvish language. Being somewhat of a dabbler in language, it should be fun. My biggest geeky secret is that I love grammar.

(even geekier, the title of the post is a play on a Babylon 5 episode title. might as well go all out.)
