So, I’m not sure about the aim of the forum this thread with pictures of women soldiers, and I’m fairly certain it’s aiming away from Western-style political correstness, but I find the contrast between the first picture of a U.S. woman soldier and the first picture of a Canadian woman soldier to be very informative.
I love Canada, don’t get me wrong, but those difference in the two pictures says something. I think it’s mostly something about the bias of the message board admin who posted them, but what the heck do I know?

50+ years ago, test pilot George Smith became the first person to survive ejection from an aircraft flying at supersonic speed. His F-100 Super Sabre was traveling at Mach 1.05 when the controls jammed, forcing him to “punch out”. Doesn’t sound fun - he was in a coma for 6 days.

woo-hoo! there’s a dartmouth vs. mcgill exhibition game this saturday night. sadly, there’s no more home games until nov. 11. anyone up for a road trip to cambridge, princeton, or new haven? on the plus side, there’s another game on the 12th at home as well.
