Looks like there are some good free iTunes songs today.

So for some reason I was thinking about cars this afternoon (imagine that), and had the sudden urge to see if there were any new BMW films added in the recent past. Turns out that, no, there are only the first two seasons, which were I think ‘01/’02 or maybe ‘03. Anyways, nothing new, but if anyone is looking for some good procrastination that has never heard of this, go to bmwfilms.com and check out all the films. They are all played with Clive Owen as the driver, and made by a variety of accomplished producers/directors, like Guy Ritchie and the people from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The best film is by far Star (in my obviously correct opinion), but if you havn’t seen these, don’t spoil yourself with that one first. If you have seen these, then watch them again. Nothing like an M5 sliding through a turn to loud music to brighten up your day

my mom has a story about something similar from back in the day, where a drunk guy checked into the hospital with breathing problems, they hooked him up on oxygen, and then as she was walking back down the hall heard a big “BOOM”. The guy stomps out of the room, holding his face, and leaves the hospital…. then the next day he comes back in and says something along the lines of “I think I blew up my face last night”.

for the love of god, please, just smack me every time you see me drinking anything caffeinated after 3pm. you’d think i would know better by now, but oh, no, that sunkist was just too tempting this evening. i’m off the hook for the observing run in september, so i really can’t let my sleep spiral out of control before the quals for no reason except my own stupidity/lack of self-control.

i spent another $20 or so tonight on the itunes music store. then i realized, i haven’t updated my .blogsongs list in awhile, so i’ve just done that. it’s mostly purchased music though (i bought a LOT while stuck on the Mountain), so you have to stop by and distract me from work/studying to hear a number of them.
