Tim asked for it so here it is… a “current music” message.
Here’s how you do it…
Go to the custom fields area (where you do moods) and use a keyword of ‘mylisten’ (without the singlequotes of course).
For the value, enter the name of the band. Or maybe something like ‘SONG by BAND’
One caveat. This will only show up if you’re looking at an individual post. It made the front page kind of messy, but if you all would like I can play with it a little bit more.
And yes, this was harder than it should have been.

In case anyone is wondering, the tricky part was getting the thing to only show up if there was a band listed.
I’m definitely not a php wizard, but I feel pretty good about coding this thing up.

“php wizard” sounds like a character from some massive multi-player online time-sink (read: Everquest, World of Warcraft, and such).
Gameplay would read something like this:
Nathaniel codes mightily, but to no avail.
The php wizard smites Nathaniel with a blast of “Error 404: File not found”. Nathaniel suffers 4,386 damage.
