I’m watching last week’s Simpsons episode and there have been a couple of great lines so far. Lines that are particularly significant for us.

1) On the radio mocking NPR… “Dartmouth Banjo-ologist”… “it’s just not that good.”
2) Bart gets bored at the movie and cuts off the pony tail of the person in front of him then holds it up to his head… “ooh, I’m a grad student. I’m 30 years old and I made $600 last year.”
3) Marge’s response… “Don’t make fun of grad students, they’ve made a horrible life decision.”

but having lived in Kentucky, this article resonated with me (especially since NH isn’t really much better). Actually, from my experience Forde was a bit hopeful about the current situation, I remember how Tubby Smith was getting more criticism than praise even after the ‘Cats won the NCAA title.
