1) am i on crack, or is it taking awhile for new posts to appear on soapbox? i’d swear i’ve seen some posts show up, and then an hour later, i check back, and a “new” post appears *in between* posts i’ve already read.

2) somehow i have a directory in my home directory (/Users/hs) that is just “”. when i try to ls, or cd, or even rm \, it kicks me to the next line with a > prompt. typing “exit” or “ls” or anything then gives me “rm: exit: No such file or directory”. WTF?

3) where do i get the OSX apple IIe emulator and oregon trail!? i must have it! i’ve been entirely too productive tonight (ok, so half of that productivity was just looking up pretty pictures of interacting galaxies for my presentation), and i’m getting my ass kicked in freeciv by the AI.

How many characters are they going to kill off? Seems to me that Caleb was central enough that they didn’t need to kill him off unless his actor is leaving the show (next week being the season finale, right?)… and Marissa? odd. Oh well, pump a struggling show full of action and it has to help?

I did like the whole prom/George Lucas thing, that particular thread was nicely done.
