A word on tonight’s entertainment
Friday, March 18th, 2005I think I may have commented before on how going to a bar alone might be analagous to wearing pink - a man has to be either confident/comfortable with his masculinity, or desperate. There are exceptions to this rule, however (October and two weeks in March come to mind)… but in general, it holds.
Personally, as long as you don’t mind risking spending an evening by yourself, I think that it can be fun. You need a TV within sight if people get boring, but there’s something kinda cool about just sitting back and watching life in the fishbowl happen. Or am I just on crack? oh well, Murphy’s here I come.
