Take a grapefruit and cut it at the equator. Then, with a small knife cut the sections from the membranes but leave them in place.
Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter in a small bowl and add 1 teaspoon of flour and approximately 1/4 cup of brown sugar to make a paste. Spread this paste over the cut areas of your grapefruit halves.
Now place the two halves cut side up in a heat-proof pan and broil in the oven for about 5 minutes. You want the top to start to carmelize and bubble.
Now pull them out of the oven and enjoy.
