Take a grapefruit and cut it at the equator. Then, with a small knife cut the sections from the membranes but leave them in place.
Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter in a small bowl and add 1 teaspoon of flour and approximately 1/4 cup of brown sugar to make a paste. Spread this paste over the cut areas of your grapefruit halves.
Now place the two halves cut side up in a heat-proof pan and broil in the oven for about 5 minutes. You want the top to start to carmelize and bubble.
Now pull them out of the oven and enjoy.

his name is chesden, and he’s an absolute sweetheart. 7 or 8 months old, german shepherd/labrador retriever mix. if my landlord shows up by monday at 6pm, and i can get him to the shelter with his dog Grits so the shelter people know i’m allowed to have a dog, and that the dogs will get along, this beautiful boy is mine. well, it’s possible they may be able to hold him longer, but if people are interested in him, they can’t hold him past that. *sigh* i hope i get him. i’m tired of not getting what i want, and i’ve already missed two other dogs that would’ve been great.
Stupid Reaganomics. Oh wait, wrong subject. but still, this is pretty cool.

Finally, when Marissa starts to become appealing, she then starts thinking of getting back together with Ryan (they will soon win the contest for “most boring couple ever”). And I wanted Zach to be mad at Summer!! His “I didn’t think you’d make it past security” was lame — so why are you taking her to Italy if you don’t think she likes you?? And I am seriously mad at Sandy for putting up with Rebecca for so long. Oh well, at least Seth was charming. Oh, and why can’t any of these characters stay together for more than 10 minutes???
